They don't care about what we have to say about their games! They don't care about their production and what we actually want. All they want to do is give us the most rushed bullshit game with a gimmick tired to it and then sell it. Then they'll use patches, DLC and loot boxes to make extra bullshit money as well! This is destroying the gaming industry!

I like the non-scummy parts of modern gaming. I remember having my mind blown at the amazing stuff coming out back in 2007 and was eagerly looking forward to the future.

Ten years later, after many ups and downs, I finally learned a valuable lesson after Visceral Games got shut down: If you find a fun, unique, creative game, love it with everything you've got because you'll never see anything like it again.

I kinda feel like its the opposite. At least for some games. Developers are listening to players more than ever and taking into consideration what the players are saying and are making changes in updates. Games like Overwatch and Fortnite for example. The developers are listening to balance changes and new items or game modes suggested by players. I think SOME companies actually look at what the fan base wants and implements changes based on that.

Fortnite has pretty much ignored all PVE support to support PVP.

So I suppose they listen to their PVP fanbase, but they have abandoned their PVE fanbase

Yeah, never understood the videogames are too expensive garbage. Going out to eat, or drink will generally cost more than the price of a videogame in terms of hours of enjoyment.
