called 911 and started by saying "idk if this is the right number or if this urgent enough but im witnessing some dumping of garbage taking place" and they responded by saying I called the right number and began to process my complaint.

3 weeks ago some fucker dropped a couch at the end of my street, so when i seen that shit today, i was like naw fuck you.....but i wont lie, i feel guilty now like maybe i shouldnt have but they shouldnt have been dumping..fuckem.

did i do the right thing CE?

Unless the garbage is actually illicit I think thats the wrong number. Pretty sure 311 would be more appropriate. Or if you really wanna notify the police you can just call the actual local departments number.
