I usually drop the purse on the floor next to the chair then sit down. Same with dudes who do that shit with their jackets.

If its a crowded bar thats kind of fucked up but its also probably obnoxious when someone comes and sits next to you getting malls gropy or chatty. A lot of men at bars get a couple of drinks in them and then become very bold and grabby

When I'm meeting up with a bunch of friends whoever is there first usually saves an entire table or even move a couple tables together. They might set their purse in too of the table but usually it's not a problem.

Saving is fine, but like I said a few times. She wasnt saving a seat. They left eventually and no one came in. She was just using it to hold her purse.

I was, was eating food waiting for friends to get downtown. Noticed I was only on for 20 mins? So much deflection about selfish people. Unsure why. Selfish people should be called out

There was no friend. It was her and her date. She put her purse on the seat next to her. There was only 2 seats open, one was free one had her purse. I got the other empty one. I noted to my self that many people were at this bar and its rude for her to hog that seat when she could put her purse on the ground, or better yet, on the hook under the bar.

Yes people can ask her to move her purse, and had there been no seats left, I would have asked her to move it. Im saying as a courtesy she should have the self awareness to see the bar is crowded and she should move the purse.
