The the apologists for this will say "Oh, they just always have the tip line."

Bullshit, you could easily program the software to only print the tip line for delivery orders. They know exactly what they're doing, they're trying to guilt people into it.

I've also heard the excuse (for dine in vs carry out) "Well, even if they're not bring the order to your table and refilling drinks, etc. they're still bagging up the order which deserves a tip."

My local Dominos had that when their credit card systems were first upgraded, but they removed the option later. Just hit no tip if you don't want to leave one.
