1. Pick a game you find even remotely interesting at the moment that's either:
a) Lengthy & with considerable depth (i.e. a 40+ hour RPG) or b) Particularly challenging (i.e. shoot 'em up games, NES platformers like Ninja Gaiden, etc.) 2. Take some Adderall or, if you don't feel comfortable with that and/or aren't legally prescribed, drink a shit ton of coffee. 3. Go nuts. I think a lot of my video game addiction has to do with getting intoxicated while I play them. I rarely do one without the other. As such, I am addicted to both video games and alcohol. ... as i've gotten older, my interest in games comes and goes. if you want to keep the hobby, just keep trying new games till you find one that keeps your attention
