My ISP got bought out and I got a new router and DLNA doesn't work unless I unplug it and plug it back in and even then it only lasts about an hour before it will disconnect and I have to go unplug it again to fix it.
I went to the router settings through my browser and it shows DLNA support is enabled.

It's causing a lot of issues for me because my devices won't detect other devices on the network unless I unplug it and the connection loses after an hour even when I do that. Never had this issue before. Anyone know what the issue could be and how to fix it?

Posted on the PC board but it's much slower, figured I'd try here too because in impatient.

I've faced this issue before end I know how to resolve it but I'm so fucked up right now that I can't even get up to reheat some McDonalds.

Are you wired or wireless? If wireless, changing wireless off from AUTO in your settings may remedy it.

The post made me laugh out loud right now so even if you can't help, it was worth it. Especially since I'm just as fucked hp right now and probably shouldn't be trying to do tech stuff to begin with.

Wireless. My devices are to far for wired. Would that be under the router settings I have to access through my browser?

Yes, it is on mine.

192.168.0.0 or 192.168.0.1 should access it. Guest or Admin should be the default login if you have never messed with it. A quick web search will tell you a specified login for your specific router.

Oh yeah I have mine and have accessed it before to check to DLNA was checked off. The UI is absolutely garbage though, it'll be a chore to fuck with again but I'll try that and report back after I try it.

Beyond this i'm likely no help, but if you are still having issues, i'll help research it and try to find a resolution.
