Ann and Yukari both kind of sucks. Yukari has an awful personality and Ann is just boring - I don't actually think there's much below that surface level. She's the only character in the game where her confidant made me like her a little less.

Futaba and Kawakami have by far the best Confidant stories and character development, Tae's is good too. Hifumi is the girl for people who didn't really like any of the party members and wanted someone generic. I actually like Ohya but no one else does. Chihaya is a bit forgettable.

I'm not a huge fan of Ann because her Confidant link really sucked, but don't you dare say she's worse than Yukari.

I don't think it's possible to be a bigger wet blanket than Yukari is. I can't recall a single interaction with her that isn't her insulting someone or overall acting extremely arrogant, and getting away with it. Apparently she's better in Persona 3 Portable when you play as a girl but I never got to that.

I will admit Ann's confidant sucks.

But I also firmly believe that most of the confidants suck with a few shining examples (Kawakami, Sojiro, Yusuke) standing out amongst a sea of ADHD on what the actual conflict is supposed to be.

Also she's got the hottest DAN outfit I mean for real, pulls of non-punk fishnets, sold.

Yeah fair. I actually had a favorite character topic recently where I outlined why Yosuke is a compelling character to me, and part of it was that him being having very poor social skills is tied into his characterization, which is expanded on a lot in Persona 4 Arena as well. But I can see why someone wouldn't have the same views as me (actually most people wouldn't).

Tora's confidant is fantastic for sure.

Yosuke is excellent KP, you are a man of wealth and taste in that regard.

Oddly enough that's what turns me off. I do not find Ann attractive at all. She's at least cute in her schoolgirl uniform, then once Panther emerges I say no thank you to that.

Every other girl in the game is better than her imo

Except maybe Chihaya but I didn't really give her any attention so maybe she's secretly the best and no one will admit it

but once you get it in your head that a character is a certain way of course that's the stuff you'll remember more than anything else
