some of us have mental health issues which are under control with/without medication.

I had heard mental illness typically comes between 18-35.

Literally no one ever implied that they were.

Referring to the fact that Florida lawmakers want to restrict guns to people under 21.

High school, however, IS limited to people under 21. The idea is that they want to give people a few years to chill if they had a shitty time in high school before they can go buy a gun. Obviously that won't accomplish anything, but it's a feel good measure for the "we have to DO SOMETHING!" crowd.

On a semi related note mental health is obviously an important issue but I'm not sure what the standards should be regarding gun ownership. I'm bipolar and own guns and am no risk to anyone. Like maybe maybe maybe myself in some unlikely 1 in a billion extreme but certainly no one else.

I enjoy shooting and hunting except I can't really being myself to kill anything besides one deer once... So it's mostly hiking with a gun. Lol
