Of those 104 firearms, 87 were loaded. "Just because we find a prohibited item on an individual does not mean they had bad intentions; that's for the law enforcement officer to decide," the TSA said on its blog. "In many cases, people simply forgot they had these items." Still, the agency noted when it finds a firearm the line is slowed down and the passenger, even if he or she had no ill intent, is cited.
