I consider it very important to me personally that I *don't* own a firearm, so I guess I fall under the last one.

I don't see any scenario where I would ever want to own a gun. I simply do not get the fetishization over them.

mostly apathetic about it. i've used guns at a range before and never really felt interested in owning one myself.

I have a firearm, but since I inhereted it from my dad (whom I cant stand) I never use it. I just use my icearm instead.

im in michigan. its not, atleast no more than most other states. dont have a record, take the pistol course, fill out the paperwork, id ect., pay all the fees and youre good to go. im very much against registration and while handgun laws arnt as bad as NY or any other more hardcore states you do have to register handguns so at that point you might as well get a ccw anyway since police are going to know you most likely own a handgun.

Don't want one...if I had one, the odds where I would be in a situation to put it to good use are very low.

the paper work is $100 and the cpl courses will vary around $125-150 (mine was 125) for a 10hour course. this assumes you own the gun already though and can use it to train with. if you dont you can generally rent one, but its going to cost extra.

While I haven't got around to getting one yet, it's pretty important that I own one someday since I won't always be in good shape and able to fend off intruders with other weapons.

I have zero interest in owning a gun, due to the fact that I have four very young children in my house and suffer from schizophrenia. Those alone are no-gos in my book at owning one, and add on to that I live in a fairly wealthy neighborhood with an extremely low crime rate and great police/community relations/response time, and that's another knock against needing a gun either.

I believe education on firearm care and safety is a necessity for a country that considers it a right to own. I also believe people should do a better job at paying attention to family members with mental issues. If you know your friend or family has something severe going on, that really needs to be reported.

I have no interest in owning one, but I would like to know how to use one. Mainly how to unload it without firing in the event that I ever had to. I feel like all the stuff you see in tv and movies is just nonsense. I'm a teacher and I definitely don't want to be armed in the classroom, but I feel like it would be a good idea to know how they work on the off chance that a kid brought one in and I talked him/her down.

I don't live in the best neighborhood and I work in an industry that receives a ton of death threats, so I have a concealed carry and keep a pistol in a safe by my bed

Also I go to a lot of clay shooting fundraisers and stuff, and it got old always having to borrow someone elses gun, so I got my own shotgun.

Until we live in a world where it isn't as easy to get guns, I'll want to have a gun of my own for self defense. Although it's highly unlikely i'll ever be in a situation where I'll need it, I still feel better knowing that I have a great way to defend myself if needed.

It's extremely important to me. I'm an Army veteran and a second amendment warrior who will NEVER roll over and let liberals take my guns.

Very. I believe every home should have one.

Our city police just started doing the permits for allowing concealed carry last year. We have a lot of ranch and rural areas so I imagine it's more for those people than anyone else. Lots of area those guys have drive on and look for predators. It's about $800 from what I remember reading.
