because in season 1 or like the early pokemon i watched as a kid ( i grew out of it) but essentially in the tv series the pokeballs itself like being in it healed you. But in the game, dont you use potions to heal you, and pokeballs is just a sense so that you can carry pokemons as in more at the time.

So just curious. What is the fact here?

(Also i have never played any pokemon game outside pokemon stadium multiplayer on N64. Friends loved it on gameboys, i didnt cared for it back then and never has played it and yeah... sorta been like that)

But i remember when Pikachu got damaged during the first fight Ash saying something this will help you or something to heal you or keep you warm or something in terms of putting Pikachu in the pokeball something if you want to survive you have to go in since Pikachu refused to go in it considering this pikachu hated Ash at first. Or i may remember it wrong, though i remember they took the pokemon to the hospital. The spray i have no memory of though

It's just rest is good. A pokeball is basically a bed and Ash didn't want Pikachu unnecessarily exhausting himself.

Ah ok, that makes sense i guess. I just never have played any pokemon game so i was just wondering. Must have most likely just assumed the healing stuff considering why he just didnt carry and ran from those birds in that episode etc.

they don't heal in game or show. in the anime they say "take a rest" (or any variation of that, but not healing)
