Effects I get:

Good: Smoother skin, less puffiness, looking better overall.
Negatives: Gotten couple zits where I never usually get, after shower my cheeks are splotchy red with visible bumps.

What I do:

1. Washed face
2. Cleanser for sensitive skin (A cleanser milk), massage it in my skin
3. Toner, could not find for sensitive, so got one for dry skin, I dunno if it's right
4. Eye cream for sensitive skin
5. Moisturizer for sensitive skin, Q10 whatever

Youre probably putting too thick of a coat on your skin which is causing pimples.

I just go to the local small business Black Beauty and Cosmetics store and ask the Asian lady behind the counter for a bar of African Black Soap.

First it was extremely bad acne in my teens and early 20s. Now it's trying to keep my face from being dry. And I mean dry. After every shower I have this dry white flakiness on my face. I have to take a damp rag at the sink and scrub until it all comes off in little flecks. Yeah it's nasty.

Everything I use in the shower doesn't prevent this. I just use a light soap, exfoliants and acne astringent. Yes at fucking 35 I still have to watch out. If I put the wrong thing on my face, the wrong moisturizer, the wrong lotion, the wrong soap, etc. I will breakout all over my face like I was still 14.

There is so far one item that I can put on after this drama every day that keeps my face soft and doesn't cause any issues. Arbonne Nourishing Facial Oil. And their facial moisturizer. Their acne products work too. Yeah I guess I'm pushing that brand but so far in all these years it's the only stuff that works for me. It is wildly expensive though.
