in the current olympics they are driving bus loads of kids to "fill" the stands,
cause many of the events are boring.

(the stands still have plenty of empty seats).

and this happens in many olympics.

Didn't happen in 2010. Damn near everything was sold out. Hell I was lucky just to get tickets to a germany/Sweden hockey game.

Inclined to agree here. I'd much rather watch snowboarding and hockey than much of the summer olympics.

That said I like watching both. I like the novelty of learning about new sports.
