I thought the second half of the movie Michael B. Jordan's lines were pretty aweful. Damn bad writers.

I'm excited to go see it. But I checked movie times here and it's only showing during the daytime. No shows after 3. What the heck terrible movie times are those

sounds like the movie theater is racist. don't they know the old white people wake up at 8 in the morning and eat a lubbies and then go see to the movies at 10.. by 1 o clock they need to be home to watch court tv and then after that they can go to sleep.

That's weird. It was really hard for me to find a non-3D showing, but there were a lot of showings through the day. I went at around 6pm and the place was packed. This has actually been a massive opening.

It's a small town with a max of 6 movies at any time. Only 5 things showing and not one evening time for Black Panther this week. It is weird. They have several empty evening screen slots.

Can still see jumanji at night

I have tomorrow off so I think I'll treat myself to the noon showing and an empty theater. It's only in 3D and that's sad. Nothing else I can do if I want to see it

Yeah I shouldn't have said bad to mediocre, they're mostly mediocre with a few bad eggs.

Most Marvel movies ARE mediocre. Avengers 2 ranks as one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen.

Ironman was good, but the rest of the Marvel movies have ridden on its coattails for the past decade. Deadpool was a breath of fresh air but mostly was notable for being edgy. Black Panther was really good, probably the best Marvel movie yet.

I thought it was pretty impressive that Ryan Coogler was able to distill an MLK vs. Malcolm X-esque conflict into a digestible plot for general audiences while working within a pretty formulaic Marvel Studios framework. The fact that Killmonger exists as a villain with the motivation that he has is kind of incredible in a movie of this size.

Right? I just thought it was super cool that a movie like this can exist and also do really well.

Also, can I just say that Winston Duke (M'Baku), who this is the FIRST MOVIE he's been in, absolutely knocked it out too?

Honestly everyone did a great job, I can't think of any weak performances. Even Martin Freeman did great, tbh.

Movie did a great job of successfully balancing dramatic moments with genuine humor

As much as I enjoyed the humor of Thor: Ragnarok, I did like how Black Panther kept the humor a bit more subtle. Not sure why but maybe since it is technically his first movie I wanted it a bit more serious.

Its probably good but still not gonna watch it. I hate super hero movies, like alot. Spiderman was a guilty pleasure during my childhood, the cartoon ones atleast from 1994.
