Hash browns are shredded. Or even the McDonald's thing, I'll accept as a "Mc" version, kinda' like chicken McNuggets being a "Mc" form of chicken. But cubed ain't hash browns, gotta' draw the line there. If you give shredded hash browns a 1 and cubed "hash browns" a 10, then you're giving hash browns a 1, sorry.

Not really. I mean, the taste is fine for both. But I don't like how it feels when trying to eat. They are basically the same except one is shredded. And the other is put back together. It like if you squashed the shredded pieces together to make a solid piece again. Haha.

Except no, one is more of an elaborate tater tot, or a ashed potato with a fried exterior. Hashed browns are shredded mini-fried that are hashed together, as the name more than implies.
