The Conservative attack on LeBron James is very telling. It shows that no matter what many on the right would see African-Americans as nothing more than people who should just shut up and dance. James is a self-made millionaire who brought himself up out of poverty. James has given back so much to his community. He has helped kids get into the college, he does programs to help them stay off of the streets, and James even has programs to help adults get their GED, yet since he said something negative about Trump. People have called him a Thug and a Punk. Trump spent years doing nothing but attacking Obama, and these same people supported those attacks. When Colin Kaepernick took a knee in protest of the situation facing African-Americans, many people claimed that the only reason they were upset is that he was disrespecting the flag and not doing it on his own time. James disrespected no flag and did this on his own time. And yet the hate still comes out. And the telling aspect of this situation is that most do not address his points.

The same first amendment that protects LeBron's rights to criticize Trump protect Laura's rights to criticize LeBron. And your rights to criticize Laura.

FWIW, I don't agree with her. LeBron and Curry didn't say anything ridiculous, and this just brought a lot more attention to it than it would have gotten otherwise.
