Comic fans would readily admit BP was superior to both Cap and Batman without much fuss a year ago or before. Now certain people act like they're debating for their lives or something. BP is near-pinnacle, but Cap is basically the litmus test for humans. Cap will beat any non-Superpowered person in pure combat the majority of the time. They are extremely closely matched, though, and BP has a better array of supporting abilities. Not considered? The heart shaped herb? BP has parts about him that are considered super-human--His sense of smell and sight, his power over the dead (More recently), ect., but none of his physical stats exceed the pinnacle of humans. The two of them are at the exact same tier physically, and in almost every way. If we're factoring in anything else BESIDES their pure, unassisted, unarmed, unprepared skill then BP would win the majority of the time though.
