First of all I want to say thank you that I can now add boards to my favourites via the app.

Since the last update when a poll topic title is 2 lines long (text at 100%) the poll graphic clips into the first few letter of the title. Not app breaking but it is noticable. Just fyi.
Also was it intentional that the post header where the username and post time are located is now bigger than before even though the text is the same size? Now there is a little overhead on each post so that there are fewer posts on screen than before.

You mean on the topic list, the icon that denotes a special topic type? Poll being one of them, there's also locked and stickied. I'll add that to my to do.

Yes. I just checked and the locked icon does the same.

Better spacing, mainly. Makes the bar better-sized for touch interface. Also makes it a consistent size regardless of whether you have the (currently non-functional) avatar option turned on, or not.

Edit: by non-functional, I mean broken, not that it does nothing. I've yet to come up with a good way to avoid a bunch of extra network calls to get someone's avatar, so it just shows the default one for everyone currently.
