I imagine most people on CE would lean towards yes.

Should any type of expulsion curtail your second amendment rights in some way? All the way? Perhaps just expulsions with a violent aspect to them?

I would be fine with expanding background checks to cover expelled students, especially those who were involved with violence. I'm very wary of due process (which is why the "ban people on the terrorist watch list from having guns" is untenable without overhauling how you get on the watch list), but if you've been thrown out of your school, you should at the very least have to jump through an extra hoop. At least in my opinion.
