The gun problem in this country is a culture problem. Along with stricter requirements, we'd also have to change how the majority of people view guns.

We're far more accepting of blood and gore than we are of sexual content. That's fucking weird, right?

i said probably not, most mass shooters get guns in ways that would likely be legal under a new gun control regime or would be difficult to regulate (like taking it from a family member who bought it legally)

this argument makes no sense because there's nothing stopping people from trying to build bombs now, and sometimes they even do it (i.e. boston marathon pressure cooker bombs). it's just that buying guns is a whole lot easier and more efficient if your goal is to maximize killing.

as i said before, nothing stopping people from doing these things in the US as well. it's just once again more efficient and easier to buy a gun at a store (or at a gun show) and open fire on a crowd.
