If so, what made you root it?
I wanted to get the most out of my device, mostly AdAway and the ability to update to a newer OS. My phone is 2 years old but I have Android 8.1. doesn't get any better than that. also I don't like bloatware. --- pojr I summon it. You spell it. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yes, it's incredibly easy to root pixel devices
I use a few apps that require root access. --- i7 5820k (H100i v2) / Asus x99-a / 32gb DDR4 QC / EVGA 1070ti / 840 Pro 512gb + 1tb WD Black / 2x Dell S2716DG (1440p/144hz) ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'd love to get a T Mobile plan with unlimited data, root the phone and use it as a wireless hot spot. Verizon is tighter with their data than McDonalds is with chicken nugget sauce.
