in left 4 dead i often miss point blank shots at generic zombies with a shotgun

in overwatch i can be in close quarters with tracer, miss half my shots, and then zenyata turns around and 1hkos me
or mcrees flashbang always hits me no matter what and they never miss the headshot

i cant aim with soldier, widow, i used to be able to aim with hanzo freakishly good but stopped playing him cause everyone shat on his ult, annd then i lost touch

how do i get good

I was decent before. I'm terrible now. Same with fighting games other than Melee.

You don't care anymore. Not enough to pay close attention and be passionate about the improvement. It doesn't matter enough to you and you probably just keep lazily trying the same couple of strategies.

if i played mercy i would have gotten to like 2700 probably, but i swore off playing mercy after being called a "mercy main"

Yeah don't listen to the bronze dude telling you to max your sense on OW, if anything you should turn it down more and use your arm to aim more.
