Races not so much, but religions, sure. My wife's Jewish friends have mothers who think like that, and her one Circassian Muslim friend is VERY strictly forbidden from marrying anyone who's not. The reason I probably don't know anyone who is against people of difference races marrying is because I DID marry somebody of a different race and I wouldn't associate with anyone who held that view.

Yup. My sister and I are one of the few in our community who married other races. Luckily our parents are open minded. They were initially disappointed but they also knew it was ways a pipe dream that wed marry Arab men.
