eston 02/13/18 4:05:09 PM #4:	I've never heard of either artist, and honestly it took me a little by surprise that we got official Obama portraits over a year after they are out of the White House. As for the portraits themselves, I think my initial reaction of "wtf is this?!" was pretty common, but on further reflection I actually like that they did something creative and different. A Presidential portrait should be about more than just showing what the person looks like. We have official photo portraits for that.
