Almost all reviews on Metacritic are in the green, just not an 'outstanding' green. Still not sure if the bugs people were showing off were pre-patch or console or what, but it seems like it may be worth the money after all.

Every review I have seen has said its good, but to wait for a sale and some patches because there are a lot of bugs.

Too bad the devs didn't just delay the game. I have heard that they have sequel(s) planned but the buggy release will probably hamper sales.

Honestly I'm more worried about the fact that this game focuses on "realism"

Ultimately I enjoy rpgs that allow me to make a character that starts out weak and becomes super strong in the end.

I want to be killgore the godslayer and I am not sure that will be possible in this game...

I'm also concerned that if I want to be a thief I apparently am supposed to wear dark clothes at night and switch to normal clothes during the day, lest I "out" myself... That seems like a pain in the ass...

Played it for an hour
-bugs. Crash. Damn i hope 1.02 at least fix the crash.
-general unpolishedness
-performance
-save system (woukdnt be too much of a problem, but tje crash makes it unbearable)

+decent writing
+amazing non linear quest design
+gameplay is pretty unique. Havent gotten into much fights yet, but it is miles better than TES shit
+pretty good designed world and look pretty

I've heard it's very buggy despite the 20GB day 1 patch.

I dont really get it tbqh. I mean I appreciate them making such extensive fixes prior to release, but that means the version they submitted was even more buggy. How does that make it past certification?

My understanding is that the consoles require you to submit a build 3 months before release and that is the "launch" build and I believe also what gets put on physical discs. To save money, the modern practice is to just throw the build you got at them and then keep bug fixing, putting out a massive patch by the time the release date is up.

This is what they p much said.

Would be wise to wait 1-2 weeks before buying.

I understand that, but what I don't get is why such a buggy version was accepted in the first place. There's a whole approval process they have to get through

I don't think it's that rigorous besides booting it up and seeing it's not a scam. Assassins creed Unity happened

If PUBG can get approval, this can.
