you play a young german who is pressed into service to defend the Fatherland from aggressors. As you go through the campaign you find out about the holocaust and your character starts to have doubts about what Hitler is saying to the country. you fight a series of battles against British and American soldiers. and then the game ends in the siege on Berlin. You end up in a scenario where you are fighting off advancing Russians from getting into the main nazi building. but its impossible to win and the Russians keep spawning forever, you can't stop them. you have limited health kits and ammo spawns and at some point you run out and are fucked. after you get health down to 0 you see a cutscene of your guy bleeding out on the street as Russians march past you. and he says something like "Mein Got.......what was I fighting for............." and he dies.

I got the idea ever since I once watched an episode of Xplay and they reviewed some fps about Vietnam that lets you choose to play a Vietcong soldier. and go through a campaign with a story about his perspective

Might as well call it "Call of Duty: Hemochromatosis."

Makes me think maybe they should just make a war game where the people aren't wearing uniforms and you have absolutely no clue whose side you're on because you'll have some hot German babe whispering suggestive orders in one ear and a gruff American general barking in your other ear and the whole time you're going through the game killing people and destroying anti-air and stuff and it's got a vintage look but all the weapons and equipment are a hybridization of stuff from opposing armies.
