That was a legitimately good, fun game. I wasn't into Warhammer at all either.
The gameplay was extremely solid for what initially seemed like a random cash grab game, and I'd rank it among AAA games. The multiplayer was also just as good, with the customization being one of my favorite parts. The campaign felt strongly like a Gears of War clone (a good thing) and the combat is best described as "Gears minus cover with the fluidity of Halo plus hack 'n' slash". I guess it didn't really revolutionize anything, but it combined 3 respected formulas very seamlessly. I feel like the game would have taken off into iconic status if it weren't a W40k game.
