Lol I mean that just seems really highly specific and selective - I imagine that at a high school in Ithaca there's like one or two people that meet the criteria, but who knows if they even want to act in the play to begin with. If they swapped the white girl for someone else purely because of her race, there'd be another backlash for that. Canceling the play sucks for the kids but the school covers their own asses this way.
