millions of people like the winter games. and hundreds of people from each country spend years training to compete. i'm watching women's figure skating right now, and you can see the passion on their faces as they skate. this is their life. so you can't say nobody cares about the winter games. maybe it's just not for you. I feel like usually people who mock the winter games live in places where it never snows.

also curling is very tiring. joke about it all you want, but actually try it and see how much you sweat and get thirsty and tired. it's a real sport

Half the world flat out doesn't care. Literally the only country that could host the thing in the southern hemisphere is Chile. And if they did, it would have to be in like July since the seasons are inverted. The fact that they're the only ones in a whole damn hemisphere that could feasibly host it shows how isolated of a thing winter sports are

half the world DOES care though. just cause some countries can't do it doesn't mean all countries don't care. again, if nobody cares then why do these women have passion on their faces as they skate, in the climax of their years of training?
