Okay, look. Im not the first person to say this, and I certainly wont be the last. But iOS 11 is bad. The new operating system has turned my phone into a bug-infested carcass of its former self, and the frustration of trying to use it sometimes makes me want to die, too.

why would i want a custom rom? i want a phone that can browse the web at a decent speed, download some apps and play netflix.

Ditched Apple after 8 years of iPhones for a Galaxy S8+ and haven't looked back.

Everything from design, to display quality, to battery capacity, to customization, to feature set, is just plain better. I don't hate Apple by any means, but the iOS experience just got stale after a while.

Yeah... I don't see much about the iOS layout that somehow makes it better? I develop for Android, and we have to fucking put back buttons on every app that has an iOS version cuz iOS lacks a native back button lol. Well there is, but it's not convenient. You gotta do some dumb gesture or click a very very small button. That's so backwards that I can't even laugh. Their keyboard is garbage, too. It's like vaguely based on the Android one but sucks. I know iOS guys hate the keyboard cuz it causes random crashes because it's handled so shittily.

Everyone I know uses iPhone and all I hear is a bunch of bitching every time the OS updates. Then people just get used to it until the next update, rinse and repeat.

And don't get me wrong, I don't have any preference or even concern for a phone. I don't do anything with mine except call, text, and occasionally GPS. I've taken a few dick pics. I don't do very many apps or game on it or anything. It cost like $49 at Boost and that's all I really cared about.

Yeah, Android is a mess, even though I mostly use that over iOS. Way too many issues in terms of manufacturers, bugs and glitches, optimization, updates, battery, Google straight ignoring reported issues, etc. Especially when you're dealing with different companies. Even the Pixel line is pretty fucking bad.

My Android phone has a 5.5" 3840 x 2160 HDR screen. When did the Note 8 get anywhere near that? Though I do miss having a stylus from when I used to use Notes.

Both Android and iPhones suck as far as I'm concerned. I prefer Android by a wide margin but they both have their flaws.

I dislike iOS's interface, lack of homescreen widgets, and lack of onscreen buttons. The iPhone X solves the lack of onscreen buttons with some neat gestures but f*** that price.

Android has better software but good luck getting your phone updated unless you have a Pixel. iMessage is also far better than Google's bumbling messaging plan.

As far as both are concerned I hate that removable batteries are no longer an option unless you buy cheap Android phones.
