I stopped a few episodes into the Sanji arc. Apparently there's a backstory movie now. I was hoping when I started watching the show again it would be done with the arc. Good so far.

I stopped watching around the end of the dressrossa arc. I just couldn't make excuses for the pacing anymore. Luffy literally fought Bellamy for 30 episodes and in the manga it was like one chapter and barely relevant.

I'll maybe pick it up again (in fact I most definitely will) but it's not really the One Piece I remember anymore.

And yes the pacing sucks these days. I just don't really do the Manga. I did it once and it was like a good 6 months ahead of the show.

So the filler seems just as bad as always. I've almost done 40 eps in 2 days. 5 minutes of each is a long recap, and 2 episodes were almost completely skippable. I doubt much has happened in the last 10 or so eps I haven't watched since I reached a bit of a lull.
