Like I said, I got 3 titanium screws in the top front, and 2 more for my first molars on either side of the bottom. Total of 5 screws, 7 implants. They didn't replace my back molars on top or bottom, nor did they replace my wisdom teeth. So I have 8 fewer teeth now, none of which are visible or make any real difference in terms of chewing. The total was something like $15k, I believe. My parents insisted on paying for it. I told them I'd pay them back but they wouldn't hear of it. They said they felt bad that they hadn't done a better job when I was a kid finding a dentist who could help me with them, or trying a different method for getting braces or something. I never blamed them for it, it wasn't their fault and I knew that even when I was 12.
