Have you ever wondered why Russia, China, North Korea, all get away with hacking other countries, and it's never an act of war? And we can be pretty sure America UK, Canada do it too, we just don't hear about it.

The only countries that don't hack other countries are the shitholes that can't afford to.

Yeah, so why is this allowed? It's an act of war to drive a tank across the border, but hacking, and strangely, flying fighter jets and threatening air space (A Russian favorite activity) is ok?

It's fairly recent that a Iranian nuclear facility was hacked to cause an overload. The hack was placed on a USB drive and left in the parking lot, an idiot employee picked it up and plugged it into their work computer. The virus than shut down all the ventilation fans, causing a meltdown. There was no formal declaration of war for that either.

What, specifically, makes it an act of war?

In North Koreas case, its straight up attacks on utilities in both Canada and USA. So sending a bomber to blow up a power plant is an act of war, but sending a virus to do it isn't?

The laws that define an "an act of war" were created before power plants really existed in any modern sense, so... you're correct.

It makes you wonder, if that's the case, can anonymous just hack NKs computers to cause their next test missile to fly straight up and back down again? I am going to laugh so fucking hard if they do.
