All I had to do was play the first game to remember why

A never ending stream of Status Down effects <_< and the sheer quickness of enemies being able to attack you, sometimes before you can even see them or be able to shoot at them.

I'm doing the beach mission, get past the smoke screen and quite literally the split second I'm able to simply SEE the scout waiting up the hill a bit, he's already shot at me and Defense Downed me.

And that's just the smallest of tastes compared to what made me rage quit VC2. I don't remember the name of the mission but I think it was post-game content. You were limited to Lancers/Anti-Tank dudes and had to take out all the tanks. But the small map was absolutely littered with Damage Down Shocktrooper Elites. So you couldn't even select your dude and move to go attack a tank before your shots were useless.

I understand making a challenging game but don't make me have to cheese your game mission in order to fucking beat it.

Not to mention the absurd amounts of times an enemy will survive with some bullshit amount of HP like 2/261 simply because of attack down

I think I found a new personal favorite

>blow up Shocktrooper with grenade, he survives
>Double Action potential on my Engineer I used
>I have over half health
>Spam R1 to raise weapon to shoot him
>Before I can raise my weapon to take advantage of my Double Action, he unloads a full fucking mag into me and I'm dead

A half second delay for the enemy in this game would make such a world of difference. <_<

It's a great game but there's some very minor game design 'flaws' that will infuriate the fuck out of you if you want to get all A ranks or no deaths, etc.
