I agree about not loving the kitchen dividing wall, but the extra outlets are nice. Are the kitchen countertops granite? I really like the brown spots. Ours are grey spotted plastic-y something with a little pale pink and tan, so they're pretty neutral.:-) Are you painting, or keeping the house beige and adding in more colorful accessories? That's how we ended up with a golden yellow kitchen and the same color in the living room with a forest green accent wall. He's going to be reimbursing us for all the expenses. I have it in writing that he agreed to do so. If he refuses I'll use my bonus money to pay myself back and sue him in small claims court for my damages. It'll be a lot worse for him to go that route because of treble damages so I'm optimistic he'll just pay out. I'm being totally reasonable with my expenses and don't want to really gain anything from this.
