other area from a previous game once you beat the Elite Four. Now THAT'S how you make an endgame.

The main character's thirst for blood and destruction is so great that he or she has to go ravage a whole other region after he or she's made champ.

While that was awesome as a kid... that stuff was waaaaaay too easy. It was just a time sink tbh.

Yeah. It's a huge bummer they haven't done it again. I remember after playing G/S I thought every subsequent game was going to feature the previous regions. Really got my hopes up.

Yeah it was absolutely easy, but something like that can easily be adjusted and fixed.

G/S/C and HG/SS having two regions is part of why it is so loved, the old region is different too and has changed which also impacted how popular it was.

johto ended up feeling like a half region and kanto felt VERY watered down (obviously I'm talking about GSC, HGSS fixed most of these issues, aside from the terrible level curve)

I'd rather have one big region with lots to do (Hoenn, Unova)

It's because they needed Satoru Iwata to use his 1337 skillz to be able to do that. Now that he's gone, all hope is gone :'(
