Lets say this old guy married his high school sweetheart. 30 years later he meets this extremely attractive girl. She is flirty with him and he gets infatuated. Meanwhile he knows everything about his wife. They've been through everything together. The downside of this is that she's not really exciting like the new girl. On top of this he knows all of the bad stuff about his wife and doesn't for the new girl. It's sometimes hard for people to ignore a new temptation and a new path.
