It just followed arguably the greatest superhero movie (and performance by a villain) of all time and went long.

well that's his opinion. he probably was too busy all his life to read comics so he doesn't realize how badly an adaptation, that whole trilogy is to the source material. besides, most of the Batman we know today in the comics debuted in the 80's. and he probably only would have read batman in like the 40's or 50's

I know the football field was at Heinz Field and a large amount of the players were Steelers (Boswell is the kicker, Hines Ward is the returner, others are shown during the pledge).
