Everyone out here looking for relationships left and right, and I'm like.....I don't want that?

I would be annoyed TBH.

I sleep in the second bedroom, and the master bedroom is a library/office. Also I only wear pants when I want to.

I don't know what I want but Im fine up on my lonely right now. If something happens it Ill be open to it. That attitude also keeps me from coming off as desperate or needy when Im interested in a girl too.

Yeah, I'm pretty introverted so I definitely know what you mean. But there are still times when you want someone there, like to share experiences, or just to sleep next. In an ideal relationship where you have similar dispositions you wouldn't be annoyed/you should have adequate personal space/alone time.

People annoy me. As much as I love my family, sometimes more than a few hours of them when I go visit is enough for me.

I have my cat, my house, my yard and all the plants/trees. That's more than enough to keep up with as it is. I can do what I want when I want. Be naked all day when I'm home weather permitting. It's quiet. I'm boiling water for tea right now while I'm at the pc in my room next to the heater. It's beautiful. There's nothing a SO could add to my life that would be anything but an irritation. In fact the very idea of living with someone again is enough to make me go into a panic attack. And that happened a while ago. Can't sleep, can't think. Got on my knees and prayed to god that that person would find some other living arrangements. And thank god they did. It felt like someone was threatening to burn down my home and my life. It really did.

Just had to turn a chick down the other day. Told her I definitely wasn't her type, she said "try me"...so I said "do you like to go places and do things?". She immediately said "yeah of course!"...there you go, I'm not your type.

Honestly, not having any demands on your time is amazing.

I used to be like that til a few years ago, always in a relationship.

yeah I do. I mean it would suck if I didn't have a sex life but I usually bang at least 5-6 girls a year (personal record was around 10 but I was in college)

If I didn't get laid I might not like it as much.

I find it odd that some posters are citing the freedom to sit around naked in the house all day if they feel like it. What the hell kind of relationship would you be in / have you been in if your SO insisted on you being "properly dressed" all the time in the house?! What's next -- black tie at the dinner table? Overalls in the bathroom?

Being happily married is great. Even better is being happily married to someone who understands that no matter how solid the relationship, everyone still needs their own space and their own time to do their own stuff in their own way, and is always ready to give them that. I'm lucky.

Why do you guys think you can only not wear pants when you're single? I always walked around in my underwear with a boner when I was with my gf. Maybe that's why she left me, or maybe it was because she was a bit of a bitch and I was very vocal about it, who knows. The bottom line is, pants are always optional.
