21 y/o Zachary Woodcock from Michigan committed SUICIDE just moments after he accidentally shot and killed his Best Friend, 21 y/o Richard Cody Skillman while playing a GUN...and it all happened on his BIRTHDAY!!

Zach was celebrating his 21st Birthday at Bavarian Haus Apartments in Merrill with a group of friends. They went back into his bedroom during the party and then he pulled out a handgun..the gun accidentally went off and hit Richard in the chest.

Friends tried to stop the bleeding while Zach walked out of the room and realizing what he had done and what was going to happen to him, he turned the gun on himself..

Lt. Mike Gomez said that the 2 men were gun enthusiasts as they found 10 guns removed from the apartment and in Richard's car as they were "armed with multiple guns"

A Gofundme page has been created for Zach, who worked as a truck driver for Standard Electric to raise money for funeral expenses.

Richard, also a truck driver doesn't have a funeral announced yet

he should had faced prison time. Accidental killing should not be punished, IF they happens for reasons that aren't in your control. Like if he dropped the gun and it went off, or he had some kind of seizure out of nowhere and squeezed trigger by accident. In this case, it seems like he wasn't careful, so its his fault.

This is fucking said and prime example why guns are not fucking toys. Dont take them out if you dont plan on using it. And if you are showing it off dont have it loaded.

first thing i do when im showing my gun is to check its loaded

but you can't point it anywhere.

one time I showed my best friend my gun (i unloaded it and made sure the chamber was empty and dry fired) and he still wanted to look through the fucking barrel
