And a cry is heard around the corner
In the dark, an unsuspecting family is approached by a madman
Who wants to bring the greatest horror

In the dark, an exotic dancer is followed home
By a suspicious car that remains unseen
In the dark, a corrupt deal is made
On the corner of a downtown street

In the dark, a mortar explodes
In the hills of the middle east
In the dark, a raging fire turns buildings to ashes
While the people run and scream

In the dark, cash is traded for sexual favors
As someone waits in the next room
In the dark, senses and morals become obsolete
As drugs and drinks are consumed

In the dark, illegal substances are purchased
In the houses of unknown criminals
In the dark, they scream and fight
And kill eachother like animals

In the dark, a group of friends is held hostage
From a shady agreement gone wrong
In the dark, they wonder why
They couldn't see this all along

In the dark, a homeless man looks over his shoulder
As he prepares to fight for his life
In the dark, he seeks shelter
And hopes to make it through the night

In the dark, a woman's innocence is lost
As she is viciously attacked in an alley
In the dark, a bloodthirsty killer stalks his victims
As his casualties begin to talley

In the dark, a psychotic gumnan looks over a city
As he carefully plans his next move
In the dark, a man is captured infront of his family
While he's mistakenly pursued

In the dark, a bloodsoaked victim
Seeks assistance from the closest facility
In the dark, the gangs carefully monitor
Those who enter the vicinity

In the dark, there are brutal murders
Which re-define the word insane
In the dark, they run in fear
And try to hide from untenable pain

In the dark, the children show up missing
As their faces appear on the news
In the dark, all hope is lost
As the forces of good continue to lose
