I'm sure they didn't mean to make it racist but i'm offended that they didn't go the route that i thought they were leading it to.

I've seen every Christmas movie from Hallmark to Lifetime and now UpTv...and in every movie if there are ever any teens in the movie, there's always a love couple or a love triangle although not one of them has ever had a white actor go for a non-white actor

Alas i thought this movie would do it..2 white girls and 1 asian kid and he was the ONLY teen male in this movie as the 2 girls fight each other but also fight for his attention. a new girl comes to town and she attracts the asian kid to help her out and he leaves his former friend behind causing friction..

But no, they didn't do a love triangle story and instead of the movie leading him to go with one white girl that we're lead to believe, he goes for her BLACK BEST FRIEND INSTEAD!!...there was no lead up to believe he actually liked her either and they just tacked it on so he didn't choose any of those main white girls..who obviously ended up as friends in the end.

And if you're wondering, this was an UpTV Christmas movie...a supposed GOSPEL network..

Why are they afraid to have white characters fall in love with non-white characters??

Do you think this was racist??

I found that old Disney movie Song of the South because I heard it was banned because racism. I got it out of a "You don't tell ME what I can and can't watch!" attitude, but still haven't watched it for some reason.
