Vader turned to the dark side to stop Padme from dying. She dies, so presumably Vader doesn't need to know about it anymore. But he doesn't inquire about it to Palpatine later? The whole reason he turned to the dark side and he's not even curious enough to bring it up again?

I must admit I am no expert on this subject, but my post was more about why he stopped seeking a way to prevent death. Padme was his reason for wanting that power the power to protect those he cared about like plagious(sp?) could. After pledging himself to sidious for that goal he may have been seduced by the dark side only to snap out of it (so to speak) when padme died. Then again I am no expert so I could be wrong.
