My roommate was playing Mega Man Legends 2, and there's a lengthy quiz section where we had a lot of fun answering the questions together.

What are the best quiz games? The only ones that come to mind are Jackbox which is more competitive/party style or like the old Jeopardy games.

my mom likes those. there was a Trivial Pursuit game on Xbox 360 that was not bad. there was a movie trivia one that was so-so. both had the problem that the questions start repeating pretty quickly, especially the movie one.

In Trivial Pursuit on Sega CD, the game just serves as the board and question giver. You roll, move your piece, get asked the question, then it gives the answer, and after you respond verbally (or I guess in your mind if you choose to play by yourself), you then select whether you answered correctly or not. So it plays just like if you were playing the board game.

Sports Trivia: Championship Edition on Game Gear is setup like an Amercan Football game where you advance the ball based on answering the questions. I thought it was a pretty novel idea.
