Console gamers dont speak up like pc gamers do when they are being manipulated into spending more money.

Spoken like someone who doesn't remember the "Five hundred and ninety nine US dollars" fiasco at the PS3's launch. Or the "always online/Kinect required" bullshit at the Xbox One's launch. Or, hell, the lootbox idiocy in Battlefront II a few weeks ago.

Battlefront 2 happened because people disnt speak up sooner.

Loot crates shouldnt exist at all!

It was driven by the mobile markets and seeped its way into console market which is filled with casuals who didnt realize they needed to complain BEFORE it reached the very top.

Just like paying internet fees to play a single player game.

Considering PC games have their own issues with abuses of the internet, like Diablo III or SimCity (or even just that fact that everyone's sort of accepted the Steam-style DRM system, allowing various corporations to completely control your access to their games), I really don't think this is something you can paint as a console-gaming "thing". PC gamers didn't exactly do a great job of mounting a resistance when Horse Armour first reared its ugly head and now shitty money-grubbing DLC is everywhere.

ps2. they had better exclusive. xbox did get the better ports but the port took like a year to come to there console

Consoles exist so you can play games you cant play elsewhere.

Therefore xbox was just a watered down pc

I don't play online, PC or console, so this doesn't really affect me.

That being said, PC games pioneered the "pay-to-play-online model" long before consoles ever got in the act. For over a decade every single MMO had a subscription fee - typically $15 a month minimum.

My PS2 definitely had online capabilities. Maybe it was only the slim version.
