And considering an unfortunately high amount of people care more about having money right now, they likely don't want to set aside 50 bucks from their check each week just so Future Them can be happy. Look at immigrant groups, they come here with hardly any capital but they generally end up accumulating more wealth than an average American over their lifetime. Is that coincidence? Obviously not, they spent their money intelligently and wisely always thinking about their financial future.
