Or are Japanese people actually physically weaker than westerners? o_O

I mean in Japanese media, how they'll pass out for no reason. "It's late in the day and i haven't eaten, PASS OUT." "I have a cold, PASS OUT." Characters with a typical cold in general behave and are treated like they just contracted the fucking black plague or something, they're so dramatic about it. And then I think the characters are just attention-seeking pussies.

It's one thing to see this type of stuff every so often, but it's everywhere. When they watch dramas/anime/read manga in Japan, do they roll their eyes at the exaggerations just as much?

Assume they wanted a funny way to illustrate that the guy was being overwhelmed

And they probably couldn't draw a huge erection in a cartoon that would be read by kids. The nosebleed is a funny alternative.
