Well, that's disappointing. Seems like this game has less effort put into it than the other DS-to-3DS remakes did (both Devil Survivor games, and even the Etrian Odyssey Untold games).

Combined with the battle visuals being a mess, I'm really debating if I should skip this one.

New bonus dungeon

Covers most of it I think

I feel like I'm the only person who didn't really like Strange Journey back on DS. But I played it after Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga, so it felt lacking.

I actually ended up liking it more than I thought. I remember being a bit underwhelmed at the beginning but by the halfway point I was pretty invested.

Also this reminds me that I have to play DDS2 someday. Loved the first one, got the second for cheap when they did a reprint but never opened it.

why would you expect it to change at all? did you expect one of the most significant parts of the plot to be completely different in a port or something?

the plot is basically the same but with a brand new anime character shoved in at the very end
