for real, i've stood in water that was run to keep pipes from freezing. i'm getting a god damn shower.

We lose power for a few minutes randomly throughout the year here. No rain or wind needed.
But we've never lost water due to it. I keep candles and an old school oil lantern handy for if we lose power at night. The fact that is even in a thing in this day and age in SoCal never ceases to astonish me. But then it is out town's own power grid and I'm surprised they even know how to open up city hall every morning.

The one and only time we lost water was when the pipes froze one night. We went into the teens one night which is far lower than what all our homes here are geared for. But it's only been once.

Thats why in indonesia nost of us have rooftop water tank so this shit dont happen and we have power outage quite often
