I'm usually accompanied by my parents and sometimes siblings for restaurants like Wildfire, but I wouldn't mind going to such places by myself.

Living in NYC it wasn't weird at all, people do it all the time. I'd eat anywhere basically I didn't care, if I wanted the food, I'd go.

I don't do it as frequently now since I live in california, something about driving to a restaurant to eat by myself feels weird. I still do it from time to time tho

Sure. Sometimes when I get in an argument with the missus I leave to cool off for a while. Usually involves grabbing lunch or dinner and a couple beers at a restaurant or brewpub.

One time I stumbled upon a buffet dinner that was effing amazing. Good beer too!

Did it once at a Chinese restaurant. I felt awkward the entire time and I'm pretty sure the waitresses were talking shit about me lol

Only twice so far, but I have no problems doing it. The second time was just a few weeks ago, I was near a friends house, about an hour from home, but he was still at work, so I stopped by a restaurant to have dinner while I waited.

The other time I was getting my car fixed, so I walked over to a restaurant for lunch.

I'm not going to subsist on fast food or whatever slop they put out on the craft table.

Almost never. But not out of embarrassment, I just don't see the point in dealing with the whole waiter/tipping experience unless I'm going out on a date or with company.

Yeah all the time. There is this one chinese restaurant that I go to back home where I can watch this kid with a buzz cut and glasses pretend to know all the people working there. It's funny to watch the reactions of the staff.
